Dinghy Racing - We race on a
Monday night in the Plym estuary. Winter time sees some of
the members racing in the sound with other local sailing
clubs. We have safety boat which supports the racing every
week with qualified drivers
-
Cruiser Racing - Again, the club
races yachts on a Tuesday night through out the season.
Generally, the participates agree to rotate the cooking of
the after race meal which is had back at the club house.
-
Local Support - We as a small club
try and support other local clubs and events typically with
safety boat cover.

The Site: Located
on MOD land adjacent to the Marines own slip, the site is
tidy and well maintained. The site is very secure with
access being gained via two locked gates. There is
storage for both yachts and
boats. There is a cabin with separate facilities for
both men and women including a shower/toilet/changing area. There are
work shops which are equipped with various tools, pressure washers
and battery
chargers for use by the members. The site has a dinghy rack
and a site tractor is available for boat launching. There is a small slip
which has its own winch suitable
for launching small boats and dinghy's. The Marines slip
is also available for use by members subject to confirmation
on the day that there are no Marine maneuvers and permission
being granted.
-
Club House - The club
house has a large seating area, a kitchen with fridge,
freezer and cooker. Tea and coffee facilities are available.
There are books and magazines donated by members.
-
Moorings - The club has
both mud and deep water moorings in addition to a selection of
mooring pontoons.
-
Self Help - The club
thrives because of the amount of support given by members
who volunteer to assist with tasks and duties to help it run
smoothly. There is always a need for more help and volunteers for the club. To become a member go
